Ralph Campbell

DURHAM: Ralph Edward "Nicky" Campbell, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 54. Ralph is survived by his daughters: Lineey Nicole Campbell of Cliffside Park, New Jersey and Amy Jo Campbell of Jacksonville, Florida; Grandson, Aiden Brunner of Jacksonville, Florida; Former wife, Cindy Campbell, of Durham; Mother, Ruth Lively Campbell, of Durham; Sister, Cathy Ellis and husband Wayne, of Winterville; Bother, Johnny Redmond of Durham, and nephews Chris Ellis, Scott Ellis and Chuck Redmond. Ralph was preceded ineeath by his father, Ralph E. Campbell, and brother, Kenneth Campbell. He adored his grandson Aiden and was the best 'Paypaw' anyone could ask for. He also loved a winning hand in poker, a sunny day on the golf course, watching his daughters grow up, lighting the grill for the first time each summer, and cheering for the Duke Blue Devils win or lose. Ralph neer met a stranger, was a friend to everyone, and will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main St., Durham. A private service and interment will be held at Mt Zion Uneed Methodist Church, Hurdle Mills.
