Rebecca Joan Inscoe

Rebecca Joan Inscoe, age 89, died peacefully Thursday, December 7, 2017. A Durham native, she was born to the late John Philip Gunter, Sr. and Lucy Eugenia Holloway Gunter. Ms. Inscoe is survived by her five children, Kathryn Inscoe Aiken of Southport, NC; Harry Grant Inscoe, Jr., (Angela) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Philip David Inscoe (Kathy) of Lakewood, CO; Elizabeth Inscoe Hope of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; and Mark Stephen Inscoe (Aneea) of Bonner Springs, KS; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service with Pastor Clay Waters of Grey Stone Church officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family after the committal service at Maplewood. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401-7335.
