Rita Trovato Gray

Mary Rita Gray, 67, died of heart failure on May 25 at UNC Memorial Hospital. Born in Baltimore, Rita came to Chapel Hill in 1971, wheneer former husband, Ken Gray, joined the faculty at UNC. Though trained as a nurse, she devoted herself to raising her family ineer early years in the town and later to voluneer work. She served as board chairwoman for the Interfaith Council, which runs Chapel Hill
