Robert Macon Critcher

Henderson: Robert Macon Critcher age 73 of Vance County died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his home. A native of Granville County, son of the late Walter Meadows Critcher and Anee Leigh Eakes Critcher. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and a veteran of the Uneed States Marine Corp. Macon was a retired research technician with the U S Dept. of Agriculture. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Enon Baptist Church by Reverend Steve Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 in the church fellowship hall prior to the service. Surviving are his sons, Robert M."Rob"Critcher of Oxford. Jeffrey T. Critcher of Franklinton; his daughter Stacy C. Splees of Bullock; brothers James E. Critcher of Chapel Hill. Dan C. Critcher of Durham, Howard Critcher of Raleigh and seven grandchildren. He was preceded ineeath by a brother, Billy Critcher and a sister Anee Doris Critcher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Enon Baptist Church, C/O Buck Adcock, 2115 Tommie Daniel Rd, Oxford, NC 27565. Gentry- neell and Vaughan of Oxford are assisting the Critcher Family.
