Robert Malcolm Ayscue

FRANKLINTON- Robert Malcolm Ayscue, age 87, died Monday, February 20, 2012. A native of Franklin County, Robert was the son of the late Charles and Ida Ball Ayscue. He was a member of Franklinton Baptist Church, Americaneegion Post # 52, and a charter member of Franklintoneescue aneeMS. Robert was also a veteran of the US Coast Guard. Robert is survived by his son, Robert "Bob" Ayscue and wife, Joy of Franklinton; grandchildren, Michael Ayscue and Megan Ayscue of Franklinton; and a sister, Hattie Lee Moore of Greensboro and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded ineeath by his wife, Pauline Cooper Ayscue. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel. Rev. David Averette will officiate and burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery with military honors provided by the Americaneegion.
