Romie William Whitt, 78 of 1102 Enon Road, Oxford, died Sunday, neember 16, 2008. He was a native of Person Co. and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Private services were held on Monday, neember 17, 2008 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. Keith Williams. Surviving is his wife, Edith H. Whitt of Oxford; a son, Ronee Whitt; and a daughter, Faye Whitt Woodlief Steve, both of Oxford, one grandchild Jenneer Jeff and one great-grandchild Joseph Holly.
