Rose Nylas Brenzia

Rose Brenzia, 98, of Chapel Hill, NC passed away Dec. 6, 2009 at Spring Arbor of Durham, NC. Born in Whitsett, PA, Dec. 8, l910, to the late Gabor and Marcella Nyilas and the wife of the late John Wm. Brenzia, who were both longtime residents of McKeesport, PA. She is survived by daughter Rose Marie Paul and son-in-law, Herbert Donald Paul whom she lived with for many years in Chapel Hill. Also survived by son John Brenzia and wife Donna of North Huntingdon, PA. Grandchildren Donald Wm. Paul, spouse Rixey Jones of Atlanta, GA and Janee Paul Baptiste, spouse Perry, of Chapel Hill. Four teenee great grandchildren: Ryan and Courtney Baptiste of Chapel Hill and Olivia and Jeremy Paul of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by sisters Elizabeth Marton, Hazel and Beatrice Nyilas, Helen Fox and brothers Gabor, Steve, and Bill Nyilas. A funeral service will be at Trianee Presbyterian Church on Friday, Dec. 11 at 11:00 with interment and private service at Jeffersoneemorial Park, Pittsburgh, PA on Sunday, Dec. 13. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trianee Presbyterian Church, 5001 Tudor Place, Durham, NC 27713. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all her care givers at Spring Arbor of Durham and Duke Hospice.
