Sally Ingram Elliott

Sally Ingram Elliott 77, died Monday March 30, 2015 at her home. She is a native of Halifax County, VA the daughter of the late Erastus and Willie Watts Ingram, and widow of Rufus Lee Elliott a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 ??? 2:00PM Thursday April 2, 2015 in the fellowship hall of the church and other times at the home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Grassy Creek Baptist Church by the Reverend Woodrow Freeze. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Surviving are her daughters Debbie Claiborne, Halifax, VA; Judy Boyd, Bullock, NC; Joan Rogers, Timberlake, NC; Patti Elliott, Oxford, NC; Lisa Cates, Rougemont, NC; Gineelliott, Huntersville, NC; a sister Peggy Wilkins, South Boston, VA; and her nee grandchildren aneeight great grandchildren. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased ineeath by a son Mike Elliott; three brothers Wesley Ingram, Sid Ingram, Ellis Ingram; and three sisters Bet Smith, Arlene Oakes, and Mary Richardson. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. The family is under the care of Gentry neell & Vaughan Funeral Home.
